Irene Koumarianou-Kanakis

With a stunning experience spanning over three decades, Irene Koumarianou-Kanakis is an accomplished and highly knowledgeable professional in the accounting and financial sector. Having earned a BA in Business Administration (Quantitative Analysis) from St. John’s University, New York City (USA) and being a certified accountant (AIA-Association of International Accountants), Irene has established herself as a specialized financial advisor with a strong understanding of all aspects of accounting and financial management. Her vast experience will guide us through the current tax legislation and requirements for establishing successful business relations with Greece.

Chris Berlemis

Civil Engineer, Certified Property Appraiser

With a BA in Civil Engineering from the University of Patras and an MA from the University of Athens, Chris Berlemis has earned his professional reputation by offering superior and highly specialized real estate services for over ten years now. He is a licensed property appraiser and a member of the Athens Association of Real Estate Agents and of the Professional and Scientific Association of Civil Engineers. With a proven experience in research and market analysis and a strong knowledge of financial trends and principles, he will provide us with insights of the current situation of the immovable property market in Greece.

Christina Karayianni

Corporate & International Affairs Lawyer

Operating her own law firm since 2015 and having collaborated with various law firms in Athens, Christina Karayianni is a well-established professional lawyer specializing in Inheritance Law and Commercial/Banking Law. She earned her BA in Law from the University of Athens and her postgraduate studies include an LLM in Commercial Law (Bristol, UK) and an MSC in International Criminal Law and Criminology (Amsterdam, Netherlands). A member in good standing of the Athens Bar Association, the Limassol/Cyprus Bar Association and the International Criminal Court Bar Association (ICCBA), Christina is considered an expert in her field. Her experience working for the International Criminal Court combined with her extensive knowledge and expertise will help us answer all your questions related to your legal affairs in Greece.

George Angelopoulos

As a senior manager for Richter since 2011, George Angelopoulos specializes in corporate reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions, estate planning and dispute resolutions. He earned his BA from Université de Montréal and further pursued his studies earning an MA in Taxation. He is a member in good standing of the Barreau du Québec and the Hellenic Jurists Association of Quebec and the author of various essays on his domain. George, with his expertise and knowledge, will address all your concerns and questions regarding private equity and real estate.

TOM PENTEFOUNTAS

Lawyer

Born and raised in Montréal, Québec, Tom Pentefountas is a very well-established professional lawyer and was recently nominated by the Conservative Party for the region of Laval-les-Îles. Tom holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with minor in Philosophy from Concordia University. He also earned a Mini-MBA from McGill University and a Certificate in Entertainment Law from Osgoode Hall Law School. He resumed his law practice in 2017 following his departure from Stingray Digital Group, where he held the position of Senior Vice President, International Growth, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia since 2015. In 2011, he began his tenure as Vice-President of Broadcasting for the CRTC (Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission). From 1996 to 2011, he was a member of Montreal-based law firm Silver Sandiford and represented clients in various provinces. He is a member in good standing of the Barreau du Québec, the Hellenic Chamber of Commerce of Montreal as well as the American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association.

Tony Loffreda, CPA serves as Regional Vice President of Commercial Financial Services of RBC Royal Bank at Western Quebec. He began his career at a reputable accounting firm in 1984 and was a team manager in audit and accounting. He has worked in the financial services industry since 1990 and has made his way through the ranks in the industry having held numerous positions ranging from senior business banking manager, senior director capital markets for Eastern Canada to the current executive position he holds in the commercial banking area at RBC. He serves as Director at Montreal International. He serves as the Vice Chairman of RBC Wealth Management, Inc. and has been Director at Board Of Trade Of Metropolitan Montreal since October 23, 2013. He has been awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee. He is a member of the RBC Executive Committee, Human Resources and Donations Committee for the province of Quebec as well as a member of the National Executive Real Estate Capital Commitment Committee for RBC. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Tony earned the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation from the University of Illinois and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree (BCom) from Concordia University.
